About BalticMINT

Committed to innovation and education in STEM subjects in the Rostock region

What does MINT mean?

MINT stands for Mathematics, Informatics, Natural sciences and Technology, known as STEM in English. These are exciting subjects that help us to better understand the world around us and develop new technologies.

Our mission

Inspiration and innovation through STEM promotion in the Rostock region

Networking the players in STEM education

We promote cooperation between schools, leisure centres and other partners in order to strengthen STEM education.

Building a strong cluster

By forming a strong STEM cluster in the Rostock region, we are creating a permanent structure for STEM education.

Bundling of existing offers

We bundle existing STEM programmes and ensure that they are sustainably anchored in the leisure sector through easily accessible formats.

Visualisation under a strong umbrella brand

BalticMINT is establishing itself as a strong brand that makes STEM education visible and attractive.

Early career sensitisation in MINT

Our programmes aim to get children and young people interested in STEM professions at an early age.

Help for self-help through train-the-trainer

With our train-the-trainer programme, we support institutions in implementing their own STEM education programmes.

Equal access to STEM subjects

We are committed to ensuring that all children and young people have equal opportunities to engage with STEM subjects.

Promotion of girls/gender sensitisation

Special programmes support girls and raise awareness of gender-equitable STEM education.

We are BalticMINT

Gemeinsam arbeiten wir daran, Kindern und Jugendlichen spannende und zugängliche MINT-Bildungsangebote zu bieten und die MINT-Landschaft nachhaltig zu stärken.

Our aim is to spark curiosity, nurture talent and inspire the next generation of innovative thinkers.
